Progress Worth Smiling About
Our patients are pleasantly surprised by everything we’re able to do at Impact Dentistry, and that’s largely thanks to our investment in the latest technology. It not only leads to a more comfortable and efficient experience for you, but also gives our team better information for more thorough diagnostics, ensuring issues are found quickly and treated immediately. Come see what truly modern dentistry feels like and schedule your appointment today.
Digital Impressions

Taking an impression of your teeth and bite is often the first step in getting a dental crown, veneer, denture, or many other procedures. Rather than having you bite into a mold filled with dental putty (which is quite messy!), it’s now possible to scan your mouth quickly with a small handheld device. It produces an accurate model of your dentition in minutes that we can send to our lab instantly to shorten the turnaround time for your treatments.
Soft Tissue Laser

For treating gum disease, nothing is faster, gentler, and more effective than a soft tissue laser. Using a focused beam of light, we’re able to precisely remove bacteria-filled calculus (another name for tartar) from deep below the gum line as well as infected tissue while leaving the nearby healthy gums completely untouched. Patients barely feel anything while in the chair, and post-treatment symptoms like bleeding, swelling, and soreness are practically non-existent.
CT/Cone Beam Scanner

Comprehensive diagnostics are possible thanks to our cone beam scanner, which generates a highly detailed 3D model of the teeth, jaws, and adjacent oral structures in a matter of seconds. You simply sit in the device as it spins around your head, capturing images that are then pieced together to form one cohesive map of your smile. It shows us much more detail than a regular X-ray, making it easy to spot potential issues and also plan for more complex procedures like dental implants and root canal treatment.
Digital Cavity Detection

Rather than poking your teeth to search for cavities, we can shine near-infrared light on the enamel, making it easy for us to detect the earliest indications of decay or thinning. We’re able to find compromised enamel much sooner this way, meaning we can offer timely, conservative treatment to stop many cavities before they even form.
