How We Make Toothaches Disappear
Despite their reputation, root canals are actually one of the best ways to STOP dental pain, not cause it! We use them to address dental infections that have reached the sensitive interior nerve of a tooth. If you’re having trouble focusing or are losing sleep because of a toothache, we won’t make you wait—contact Impact Dentistry to schedule a same-day appointment and get the solution you need.

What Happens During a Root Canal?

After you’ve been numbed, a small hole is placed in your tooth to give us access to the inside. This enables your dentist to remove the infected tissue (which is the source of the pain) and clean out the root canals. The space is then filled with a substance called gutta percha, and a crown will be applied to the tooth at a follow-up visit.
